I am still repaying my sleep debt, from all the years of partying and early motherhood where I literally survived on nothing. Nothing good can ever really come from lack of sleep let’s face it? So here is the 5th and final part of your first steps to healthy!!

5. SLEEP  DEBT

Even if you had your most eureka moment or life changing epiphany after not sleeping for 2 days I can assure you that it most definitely had a negative impact on your insides and you probably felt as a rough as a badgers arse the following days.

These are my basics:

*A relaxing bath with essential oils and Epsom salts – or whatever you feel like.

*Jot down any ‘To do’s’ for the following day so they are out of my head.

*Switch off my phone & computer at least an hour and a half before bed.

*Read or Journal – sometimes I will just read a passage from a book that inspire me or sometimes I will read a whole first act of a play, or chapter of a book.

*Try and go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time everyday – I understand that this sounds VERY boring, but I promise you, you will be buzzing HIGH on LIFE from all the new energy & good health you’ve created that you will begin to find your old ways so boring you won’t even look back.
